The quality of writing and editing at Viva & Co. is exceptional. We write and edit books, ads, web copy, brochures, catalogues, product blurbs and press releases for a growing list of clients – and we work with some of the best translators in Canada. Even when clients supply their own words, they always appreciate our extra level of sensitivity and attention to detail.

After the success of his first picture book for Little, Brown and HarperCollins, Frank is now in the process of writing and illustrating a second. He is the voice for Whigby and Viva & Co. – and he writes much of the copy for Le Creuset, Krups and Ensemble. Viva & Co. partner and award-winning author Harry Endrulat has written more than thirty children's books. He has also worked on large-scale assignments with industry leaders such as ArjoWiggins, Butterfield & Robinson, New York Life Insurance Company and Relais & Châteaux.

We have had great success naming businesses, product lines, and book titles. Whigby is a manufacturer of stationery products that are available at Paul Smith, Anthropology, the MoMA store, Roots and The Bay. We named Whigby and finding the perfect six letter word that was still available as a dot com was quite the feat. Our tagline for Whigby, "Perfectly Odd," provides Whigby's designers and illustrators with clear direction while ensuring customers instantly understand the product offering. The Curious Collection is probably the best-known line of fine (and unusual) printing papers in the world – and we named it. Books we have titled are on several top ten lists, including The New York Times. When it comes to naming, there are many methods (and we use them all), but there is no proven science. What we offer is a love of words, tenacity and common sense.
